Love ends not
With death
Although the sense
Of loss is forever
Sting to ache
Agony to emptiness
Love remains
Despite the black
It’s memories
A silver lining
Of joy.

As my generation ages I realise that I will have to face death within my family and friends. How will I react when my loved ones die. The sting that becomes an indelible ache. Gracie, you have put it so well. I love the brevity of your words that paint such a vivid image.

No kidding billy. Gracie, I love this. I love how the memories of love become the silver lining on a very dark cloud. That's always the part that draws me in - that astonishing radiance and then when the rays burst forth - wow.

Hi Gracie!
You are so right -- beautifully said. This is how I have experienced the deaths of loved ones.
